On January 18, 2022, Jayson Shaw — one of the world's top-ranked players — ran 714 consecutive pocketed balls at Street Lights, setting the BCA-sanctioned 14.1 straight pool world record and breaking John Schmidt's mark of 626.
The run was made at our previous Alexandria location. The academy has since moved to Annandale.

Bring Your Family With You
One membership covers your household. Your spouse and your children 17 and under play on your membership at no additional cost — so Street Lights becomes somewhere you go together, not somewhere you go instead.
Children 17 and under are welcome during business hours, with a parent or guardian present and attentive on the floor. 24/7 access is for adult members.
You Can't Wander Into Street Lights
The academy sits inside a secure, access-controlled building. The only people on the floor are members, their guests, and visitors we're expecting — which is exactly why it feels different the moment you walk in.

How Membership Works
Family Policy
Your spouse and your children 17 and under are included on your membership.
Members under 18 are welcome during business hours, and a parent or guardian must be present and attentive the entire time they are on the floor. Members under 18 must be off the premises by 10:00 PM and may not return before 6:00 AM — including during tournaments and special events. Around-the-clock access is for adult members.
Guest Policy
Anyone outside your household is a guest. Guests who play are $25 per guest, per visit. Spectators are always welcome at no charge.
Your guests play on your table. For a group of three or more players, you may reserve additional tables — just text us.
You are responsible for anyone you bring — their fees, their conduct, and any damage to the facility or its equipment.
Guest fees: text us the number of playing guests so we can apply the charge. We accept Zelle, cash, or a direct charge to your card on file.
